Voting is done in a public location such as a school or courthouse. It generally doesn't take long, but that can depend on location, time, and the amount of selections on the ballot. Voting locations always have volunteers that can assist you in voting if it's your first time.
You participate in early voting at your leisure if you want to skip the lines or will be unable to vote on the designated day.
