Use the menu on the left to find information on creating citations.
Here are a few reasons why you need to have citations in your college writing:
Plagiarism is the act of presenting ideas, expressions, or information created by others as your own. It is a form of academic dishonesty and is considered a violation of SOWELA's Academic Integrity policy [PDF] (pg 82). Plagiarism, cheating, and other violations of this policy will result in grade of 0% for the assignment and students could also possibly receive an "F" for the course and be dismissed from the college.
Using citations can help you avoid plagiarism.
